HHS type black annealing machine is a specialized equipment that heats steel pipes online to the solution treatment temperature, and then quickly cools them to room temperature through water spraying. The advanced induction heating power supply is an efficient and energy-saving product with a new DSP+IGBT structure. The product is an IGBT inverter and uses DSP for fully digital precise control, reducing system losses. It is equipped with comprehensive self-protection and self-diagnosis functions, saving about 15% energy compared to similar products.

Solution Annealing Furnace Features:

1.  Adopts a fully air-cooled DSP+IGBT induction heating power supply, offering the highest output efficiency.


2.  Considering pipe specifications, thickness, process, efficiency, and safety, for pipe thicknesses up to 

20mm, the heating power supply frequency is 700Hz for good penetration. The holding power supply 

frequency is 2kHz for high efficiency.


3.  Stepless and precise power adjustment ensures stable output current and power, unaffected by grid 

fluctuations, resulting in stable steel pipe temperature.


4.  Multiple control modes are available: constant current operation, constant power operation, 

and constant temperature operation; all three modes have local and remote control options; 

easily integrated with PLCs and other upper-level computers for remote or centralized control.


5.  Adaptable to various inductors and different pipe diameters and wall thicknesses; no equipment 

parameter adjustment is required when changing inductors.

5.1 One power supply drives one inductor to achieve both heating and holding operations. 

The heating and holding sections are designed within the same inductor. The heating section uses narrow 

copper tubes, while the holding section uses wide copper tubes (equivalent to dense winding and 

high current density in the heating section, and sparse winding and low current density in 

the holding section; therefore, the magnetic field is strong and the heating power is high in 

the heating section, while the magnetic field is weak and the heating power is low in the holding section). 

The heating section ensures that the steel pipe is heated from room temperature to the target temperature,

while the holding section only needs to maintain the steel pipe at the target temperature 

(the heating power only needs to compensate for the heat radiation and convection losses of the steel pipe).

The purpose of using narrow copper tubes in the heating section and wide copper tubes in 

the holding section is to reduce inductor losses.

8.  Electrical control uses HMI human-machine interface + PLC. The HMI's recipe function records 

electrical parameters for various specifications, facilitating future recall. Records temperature, 

motor speed, steel pipe specifications, and other parameters. Real-time recording of 

pipe heating temperature; temperature curves can be exported and printed.


9.  Conveyor roller speed is controlled by a frequency converter. Control method: Modbus bus control.


10. Reserved Ethernet interface. 11. Integrated Sensor: The sensors for the heating and holding sections 

are manufactured as a single unit for easy and quick replacement.  Insulating material is added between 

the two sensors to reduce heat loss.
