1. The production process is different

Welded pipe: Welded pipe is made by rolling the steel plate into a tube shape, and then by welding the synthetic pipe. 2. Performance characteristics
Seamless pipes: Because there are no welded joints, seamless pipes usually have better performance in high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments. They are suitable for applications requiring high strength and high corrosion resistance, such as oil and gas delivery, chemical and high-pressure boilers.
Welded pipe: The performance of welded pipe usually depends on the quality of welding. While they can be used in many applications, welded joints can become a potential source of corrosion and weakness. However, with proper welding techniques and corrosion protection, the risk of these problems can be reduced.
3. Application field:
Seamless pipes: Due to their high performance characteristics, seamless pipes are often used in applications that require high reliability and safety, such as nuclear power plants, high temperature and pressure vessels, and chemical equipment.
Welded pipe: Welded pipe is suitable for some general engineering and low pressure applications, such as building structures, hydraulic transmission and general piping systems. They are usually more affordable.
