In the forging process of stainless steel, "annealing" is an essential process. Annealing is of course necessary to use the annealing furnace, bright annealing furnace is mainly used for the finished heat treatment of stainless steel in a protective atmosphere. The performance is different, the requirements for bright annealing furnaces are different, and the heat treatment industry is not the same. The typical heat treatment process of 300 series austenitic stainless steel pipe is solid solution treatment. The key to this heat treatment process is rapid cooling, from 1050 to 1150 ° C, appropriate heat preservation for a short period of time, so that the carbide is all dissolved in austenite, and then quickly cooled to below 35 ° C. 400 series ferritic stainless steel pipe heating temperature mostly using slow cooling to obtain annealed softened structure. It is usually treated by stage quenching and then tempering.
A qualified bright annealing equipment needs to have the following five characteristics:
1. The sealing performance of the furnace body is good, and the poor sealing performance will cause the gas loss in the furnace body and can not play a bright role.
2. The water vapor in the furnace body will cause the heating water vapor to evaporate, and the evaporated water vapor will be attached to the surface of the stainless steel tube and oxidized.
3. The gas pressure in the furnace body, in order to avoid external gas penetration into the furnace body, the pressure in the furnace should be greater than the external pressure.
4. Annealing temperature control, whether to reach the best annealing temperature of steel pipe material.
5. The gas required in the annealing process, the annealing gas of the stainless steel pipe is the first choice of pure hydrogen, because the gas purity is the best, which is close to 100%, and can not be rich in too much oxygen and water gas. Because gas is the primary reason for affecting the quality of stainless steel pipes.
In the bright annealing process, two common corrosion conditions will occur, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion. What causes these two conditions?
Intergranular corrosion, simply put, is the phenomenon of intergranular corrosion in the welding process of welded pipe, due to the high temperature resulting in a chemical reaction between the weld and the internal elements of the material, the carbon element and chromium element in the steel form a chromium compound (Cr23C6), which makes the grain boundary area chromium poor, and ultimately leads to intergranular corrosion.
Stress corrosion comes from the reaction force generated when the steel strip is deformed by external pressure during the welding process in the forming stage, and will remain in the inside of the welded pipe after welding. If not eliminated in time, the hardness of the welded pipe will become particularly high, and it is difficult to carry out the next processing.
In view of these two potential quality problems, how can our equipment achieve a thorough solution?
Features of the Bright Annealing Machine of Hangao Technology Company:
1. Fine grain, uniform steel structure and composition.
2. Eliminate the internal stress of steel and prevent deformation and cracking.
3. Reduce the hardness of steel, improve plasticity, in order to facilitate subsequent processing.
