How to solve the problems in stainless steel production and processing engineering? Many manufacturers or consumers will find surface flaws such as edge cracks, scars, and inclusions in the process of processing purchasing stainless steel pipes. This has caused problems for many manufacturers and consumers. In fact, most of the causes of defects are due to transverse cracks in the lower corner of the outer arc skin of the mold, small impurities are mixed in the crystallizer, and the slag on the surface of the stainless steel pipe is not cleaned in time during finishing, and because of the rolling process The corner of the mold is caused by the side of the stainless steel tube. Faced with these shortcomings, how to make up for it? The following editor of Hangao Tech (SEKO Machinery) briefly introduces its precautions.
First, regular inspection
First of all, the production equipment for stainless steel pipes should be regularly checked, and it is strictly forbidden to over-service the equipment. If there are small impurities mixed in the crystallizer, it will cause changes in water quality, so the water samples in the crystallizer should be checked regularly. It is the best way to reduce the width of the weakened stainless steel plate edge cracks and the uneven deformation of the wide steel plate rolling edge, and to reduce the width of the steel plate when rolling the steel plate.
Second, dynamic control
In order to prevent the corner temperature of the mold from entering the brittle zone during the bending process of the stainless steel pipe, the corner temperature of the mold with different width end faces should be dynamically controlled, and the water distribution control of the bending section should be implemented. Reducing the uneven deformation throughout the rolling piece requires reducing the difference in deformation resistance between the top and bottom of the rolling piece, optimizing the slab heating process, and reducing the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the cast slab. To prevent the occurrence of local deep burn marks and secondary defects such as oxidized slag on the surface of the mold after cleaning is not cleaned, it is achieved by improving the finishing ability of the 304 stainless steel tube mold.
The above two methods basically control the production source of the stainless steel pipe, so as to reduce the production defect rate of the stainless steel pipe to the greatest extent and improve the production quality. We recommend the use of precision-sized, moderately soft stainless steel pipe production line roll mold for rolling. The most common materials include SKD11 and Cr12Mov. Among them, Cr2Mov is a more economical and cost-effective option. Two sets of molds of the same size can be prepared for backup, which can reduce the loss of downtime when repairing the mold.
