Regarding the heat treatment process of stainless steel pipes, many countries prefer to use bright continuous heat treatment furnaces with protective atmospheres.
The heat treatment in the process of stainless steel pipe production and the final product pipe heat treatment, due to the absence of oxygen in the environment, so that the entire stainless steel pipe surface bright as a mirror, optimize the subsequent pickling process. The process of stainless steel pipe production is simplified, the environmental pollution of pipe production is reduced, and the final quality of steel pipe is improved.
Bright continuous furnace is basically divided into three types:
(1) Roller bottom bright heat treatment furnace, this furnace type is suitable for large specifications, large quantities of steel pipe heat treatment, the hourly output is more than 1.0 tons. The protective gases that can be used are high purity hydrogen, ammonia decomposition and other protective gases. It can be equipped with a convection cooling system for faster cooling of steel tubes.
(2) Mesh belt type bright heat treatment furnace, this furnace type is suitable for small diameter thin-wall precision steel pipe, the hourly output is about 0.3-1.0 tons, the length of the treatment steel pipe can be up to 40 meters, and can also be processed into a roll of capillary.
(3) Muffle type bright heat treatment furnace, steel pipe installed on a continuous rack, running in Muffle tube heating, can treat high-quality small diameter thin-wall steel pipe at a lower cost, the hourly output of about 0.3 tons or more.
Now Hangao is more advocating the use of more efficient, more extensive application of electromagnetic induction type bright annealing furnace. Induction heating is used more and more widely in various fields, and the frequency of use is getting higher and higher, so do you know what advantages and disadvantages?
1. The workpiece does not need to be heated as a whole, and can be selectively heated locally, so the power consumption is less and the workpiece deformation is small.
2. The heating speed is fast, which can make the workpiece reach the required temperature in a very short time, even within 1 second. Thus, the surface oxidation and decarburization of the workpiece are lighter, and most workpieces do not need gas protection
3. The surface hardening layer can be controlled by adjusting the working frequency and power of the equipment as required. Thus, the martensitic structure of the hardened layer is finer, and the hardness, strength and toughness are higher.
4. The workpiece after heat treatment by induction heating has a thicker ductile area under the hard layer on the surface, and has a better compressive internal stress, which makes the fatigue resistance and breaking ability of the workpiece higher.
5. Heating equipment is easy to install on the production line, easy to realize mechanization and automation, easy to manage, can effectively reduce transportation, save manpower, improve production efficiency.
6. Easy to use, easy to operate, can be opened or stopped at any time. And without preheating.
7. It can be operated manually, semi-automatic and fully automatic; It can be continuously worked for a long time and can be used immediately. It is conducive to the use of equipment in the low price period of power supply.
8. High power utilization, environmental protection and energy saving, safe and reliable.
At the same time, it also has some disadvantages. For example, the equipment is more complex, the cost of a single input is relatively high, the induction parts (induction rings) are poor in interchangeability and adaptability, and are not suitable for application on some complex shapes. But its comprehensive index is good, the advantages obviously outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, induction heating is a main process of metal processing at present.
